Reading on the Ranches
With TBLA support, the regular library-based summer reading program was supplemented with outreach to ranchworker families under the guidance of program coordinator JoAnn Kempf. Local high schoolers partnered with younger students to read with them and help them select age-appropriate books and reading activities.

On the recommendation of Spanish Services Librarian Elizabeth Munoz-Rosas, TBLA helps purchase books for this popular library-facilitated book club for native Spanish speakers which meets monthly for reading and discussion.
